Ginsenzaiku is a traditional craft in which extra-fine silver wire that resembles thread is used to make exquisite jewelry and works of art. Twisted silver wire is flattened with a roller and wrapped around each other and weaved, resulting in a subdued radiance. Ginsenzaiku is a designated intangible cultural asset of Akita City.
